Welcome to Bubby's BBQ Experience

We moved to Smithville a few years ago with the plans of continuing our M-F jobs and giving our son (aka Bubby) the best small town life we could. BBQ and restaurant business were never something we planned or dreamed of, but boy did God know better than us! Jay's passion for slow-smoked meats quickly turned into a small business, eventually leading to Kailee creating some sides to go with it. We joined Smithville Farmers Market and knew if it was meant to grow, it would. And boy did it! Through major challenges, juggling multiple jobs, welcoming another baby boy, and countless sleep deprived nights and days, we are beyond blessed to be opening a permanent location to bring y'all our Pit Smoked Perfection on a regular basis.

We fully know we will face more challenges, but we are relying on the constant and continued support of this town and beyond to keep us going and help us thrive! We hope each and every one of you along this journey with us knows that you've truly changed our lives and given us a home here in Smithville!!! We promise to continue to consistently bring you our mouth-watering BBQ and signature sides that you know and love, and give back the love that you've given us!
